Mayors around the county got together today to ask Sacramento not to tap into their local funds as a desperate measure to ease the state's financial crises.
Art Madrid fears Schwarzenegger might take up to $2.5 millions from the city (from gas tax revenue)now that the state faces a $15 billion deficit, and legislators have not agreed yet in a budget for the new fiscal year.
